Today, after the open public procurement procedure and selection of the most succesful Tenderer, the muncipal mayor Zvonimir Anđelić, B.Sc.CE. signed a contract for the execution of works on the project: Reconstruction of the M-4 crossroad with the local road for the municipality of Usora, with reconstruction / construction of the bridge over the river Usora in Tešanjka, section 008: Teslić (Barići) -Karuša, km 17 + 900 with director of Hering dd Široki Brijeg M.Sc. Ladislav Bevanda, B.Sc.CE.

The value of the contracted works amounts to BAM 1.623.375,00, which include preparatory works involving the demolition of an existing bridge, the construction of a new RC bridge length 82 m and a 6,6 m width with double footpaths and electric lighting, reconstruction of intersection with the main road by road M-4, reconstruction of the 170 m long access road with pedestrian crossing, as well as the project of a temporary roundabout approximately 250 m long with temporary crossing over the river Usora, approx. 800m upstream from the location of the bridge for the two-way traffic that will be located on the right bank of the river Usora in Žabljak near IMACO SYSTEMTECHNIK d.o.o Usora and on the left bank near the temporary road is in Alibegovci on the local road L-US1 for Usora Municipality.

For the crossing over the river Usora, a pipeline culvert will be built out of the concrete pipes F1000mm which the contractor has to hold until the project is completed. The passport will only be used for pedestrian traffic and motor vehicles up to 2.5t.

The deadline for performance of contracted work is 180 days.
Supervision over the works on this capital project, after the conducted procedure, is entrusted to the Institute of Civil Engineering “IG” d.o.o. Banja Luka

Under the Federation Road Sector Modernization Project, Contracts for works for Three Lots have been signed in the premises of the PC Roads of the Federation of BiH d.o.o. Sarajevo.

The subject Works are devided into three Lots namely:

Lot 1: Improvements to Tunnel Vranduk II and Reconstruction of the Bridges Bosna IV & V. The Contractor is JV HERING d.d. Široki Brijeg and BBM d.o.o. Sarajevo. Contract amount is BAM 16.769.997,23.

Lot 2: Road pavement Vitalj – Vlasenica (granica entiteta) and Reconstruction of the Black Spot “Olovo – nula”. The Contractor is JV JATA GROUP d.o.o. Srebrenik and ROADING d.o.o. Gračanica. Contract amount is BAM 2.472.337,57.

Lot 3: Improvements to Tunnel Ormanica (Pelagićevo-Srebrenik) and Reconstruction of the Black Spot “Husino”. The Contractor is JV JATA GROUP d.o.o. Srebrenik and HERING d.d. Široki Brijeg. Contract amount is BAM 3.221.460,41.

Contracts were signed by Ljubo Pravdić, director of the PC Roads of the FBiH d.o.o. and authorized representatives of the successful Bidders per Lot.

The subject Works will be founded from the World Bank (WB) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) funds. The planned commencement of the Works is September 2018, while the total value of the Works is BAM 22.463.795,21.

The Contract for the construction of section of motorway Mostar South – Počitelj, Subsection Buna – Počitelj, was signed on 18.05.2018. in Mostar and the value of the works is 25.692.383,53 Euro.
The Contract was signed by the Director of JP Autoceste FBiH Adnan Terzić, Director of Hering d.d. Široki Brijeg Ladislav Bevanda and Federal Minister of Transport and Communications Denis Lasić.
The deadline for construction of this section is 18 months.
Supervision over construction will be carried out by Aecom, USA.
The money is secured through the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) loan.

Description of section

The length of the sub-section Buna – Počitelj is 7.2 kilometers. It starts at about 4 km south of the village of Hodbina. The track does not cross the inhabited area, but passes over the Neretva canyon near several inhabited places and ends just in front of the loop of Počitelj. The route includes two overpasses, one underpass and two crossings for animals, as well as the construction of a two-sided rest area “Rotinski potok”.
Proper environmental management will focus on the collection and treatment of sanitary waste water, pre-treatment of rainwater from the parking lot, maintenance of oil separators and municipal waste management.
 
The route does not cross any protected nature or cultural- historical heritage, while the humid habitat of Hutovo Blato (Ramsar area and IBA area) is about 8 km south.
